Terms governing SMS and MMS text messaging communications from Metro Eyes Vision Care.
Effective Date: August 14, 2026
These Terms and Conditions govern SMS and MMS text messaging communications from Metro Eyes Vision Care PLLC ("Metro Eyes," "we," "us," or "our"). By providing your mobile phone number and opting in to receive text messages from Metro Eyes, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
1. SMS Messaging Service
By providing your mobile phone number and consenting to receive text messages, you authorize Metro Eyes Vision Care PLLC to send SMS and/or MMS messages to the number you provide.
Messages may include, as applicable:
- Appointment confirmations and reminders
- Scheduling and rescheduling communications
- Follow-up and patient-care communications
- Responses to questions or requests you send to our office
- Office announcements and administrative updates
- Insurance, billing, eyewear, contact lens, or order-related communications
- Promotional or marketing messages when you have consented to receive such messages
Consent to receive marketing or promotional text messages is not a condition of purchasing goods or services or receiving care from Metro Eyes.
2. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies depending on your appointments, communications with our office, services, and messaging preferences. You may receive multiple messages related to a particular appointment, order, request, or conversation.
3. Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier's standard messaging and data charges may apply to messages sent or received in connection with this service.
Metro Eyes does not charge a separate fee for receiving SMS messages from our practice.
4. Opting Out
You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to a message from Metro Eyes.
We will also honor other reasonable requests that clearly communicate that you no longer wish to receive text messages from us, as required by applicable law.
After opting out, you may receive a one-time confirmation message confirming your unsubscribe request. You will then no longer receive SMS messages covered by that opt-out unless you subsequently provide consent again.
Opting out of text messages does not prevent you from receiving communications from Metro Eyes through other appropriate channels, including telephone, email, or mail.
5. Help and Support
For assistance with text messaging, reply HELP to a Metro Eyes text message.

If the patient is a minor, a parent, legal guardian, or other legally authorized individual should provide the appropriate mobile number and consent.
You agree to notify Metro Eyes if the mobile number you provided is changed, reassigned, or no longer belongs to you.
